Senior Manager Communications

Job Description

1. Develop and manages the implementation of the marketing communications plan (including strategy, goals, budget and tactics) that is aligned to CENDANA’s aspirations

2. Devising and delivering communication plans to support CENDANA’s Action Plan to achieve reach and impact targets by:
• seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media,
• coordinating all public relations activities,
• direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media,
• leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media and
• create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.

3. Monitor, measure and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.

4. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

5. Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.

6.Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.

7. Attending to any other work assigned to you by the CEO.


Skills Required

• Excellent project management and organizational skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects.

• Strong command over written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

• Ability to work within a team and perform in cross-functional team approach

• A multi-tasker with strong ability to work under pressure

• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
