Busking is gaining momentum as a platform for independent musicians to share their music with the public, while ensuring that they manage to get food in their stomachs. Aside from Kuala Lumpur’s de-facto assortment of street buskers, a new deluge of venues and events now give these musicians a much-needed spotlight.
